Ward-Prowse confident of Southampton stay for Chelsea, Man Utrd target Shaw

Southampton youngster James Ward-Prowse is confident his teammate Luke Shaw will remain at the club.

The 18-year old left-back is a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United but his fellow academy product believes he loves it at St Mary's and will stay put for the time being.

"Obviously there is a little bit of banter flying around about the headlines, but that is just normal in football," he said.

"His feet are on the ground, his head is in at the right place at the moment, and he put in a great performance against Arsenal (2-2 draw on Tuesday).

"He is settled, that is the main thing. You can see the fans love him as well, which is a good thing. This is the best place to be, at the moment."
