Crystal Palace fullback Joel Ward is full of praise for new arrival Bakary Sako.

Sako impressed in victory over Chelsea.

“Bakary is going from strength to strength at the moment," Ward told the Croydon Advertiser.

“His confidence is high just like it is in the group. I think he's going to be a massive signing for us.

“It was a fantastic result for us. We went to Chelsea with a plan and we executed the plan – we did well.

“It was a massive win. From front to back, it was a big performance from every single player and there were some crucial saves, some crucial blocks and I think we deserved the win."
