Wolves defender Stephen Ward is delighted with their start to the season.
Next up is Fulham on Saturday, when both clubs will put their unbeaten records on the line having come through three Premier League fixtures and the Carling Cup second round unscathed.
"As a squad we're happy with the start to the season," Ward told the Wolves website. "Obviously it would have been nice to have won the other home game against Newcastle but on the basis of how we finished last season I think we've managed to carry that on.
"To have played four games, albeit with one of them in the Carling Cup, and still be unbeaten is a nice start.
"It was a good position to be in going into the international break. If you've had a bad start of have struggled then these two weeks become a lot longer.
"You end up being miserable during the break rather than being happy to reflect on a good start and come back raring to go again."
