Sunderland goalkeeper Darren Ward says the club's No1 Craig Gordon can become the best in the Premiership.
"He is also young so he is still developing and I think he will get stronger. From a goalkeeping point of view, he has got good technique and what we call a 'soft' pair of hands, in that his handling is good.
"Nothing fazes him, he takes everything in his stride and he has got loads of potential. He is confident in his own ability without being cocky or arrogant, which is nice to see.
"When you are a goalkeeper you can be isolated out on the pitch and you need a bit about you to carry you through the sticky times when they come, which they do for all players.
"We've all been there and been through the mill, but the rough comes with the smooth.
"Those attributes will stand him in good stead and, coupled with his ability, he will go a long way in the game."
