Wolves defender Stephen Ward says all the players are behind manager Mick McCarthy.

Ward was plucked by McCarthy from Bohemians five years ago, says the dressing room are totally committed to getting him out of jail.

"He signed everyone here bar one or two. Most have been lads from the so-called lower clubs who have wanted to make a name for themselves," Ward said. "That's got us to where we are today. A lot of us players owe a lot to Mick. I've said it many times that we wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for him.

"We are 100 per cent playing for the gaffer and the club and if you look at our performances recently there's been no sense of any dispute between the players, or any of the staff."
