Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama says they must heed the lessons learned from defeat to Manchester City.
There was a mood of disappointment among the players after the 3-0 defeat to the defending champions at St Mary's.
"We have seen what we have to do better, and it's a good game to learn, so we will learn from our mistakes and hopefully next game we will do more," Wanyama told the Daily Echo.
"It's going to be a tough game [against Arsenal], it's always a tough game.
"Hopefully we can get something out of it. We just want to bounce back."
