Wanyama prepared to sign long-term Celtic deal

In-demand Victor Wanyama says he is now prepared to commit to the Celtic cause.

The powerful 21-year old defensive midfielder was being linked with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal during the summer but insists that he is content in Glasgow and indicated that he would be happy to sign a new deal with the Hoops.

"I leave these things for the club and my agent but I'm really happy here and looking forward to staying for as many years as I can," said the Kenyan.

"All I do is concentrate on the football.

"Celtic is a big club and we are in the Champions League so I don't think there is anywhere better."
