Victor Wanyama will be free to take on Hibernian this weekend but could miss the Scottish Cup semi-final next week.
The Kenyan midfielder was red-carded in the 1-1 draw with St Mirren on Sunday for a challenge on Paul McGowan which the Glasgow club will certainly appeal.
Given the Scottish Football Association's offices were closed on Monday, the SFA's judicial panels judgement on the Wanyama appeal has been postponed by 24 hours.
With the panel only ever meeting on Thursdays, that means Wanyama's appeal will not be heard until next week, just three nights prior to the semi-final meeting with Dundee United at Hampden Park.
If the panel backs referee Bobby Madden's decision to send Wanyama off, he will receive a two-match ban which will force him to miss the final four cup clash.
