Walters insists Stoke spirit strong

Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters insists there's no problem with squad spirit, despite the Kenwyne Jones saga.

Walters says there are no issues with the group that Mark Hughes inherits this summer after taking over from Tony Pulis at the Britannia Stadium.

"There's no problem with the spirit," the Irish striker told the Sunday Mirror. "We're all still mates. These things go on.

"Lots of stuff like this happens at clubs that no one ever hears about. It's just that this was something that everyone did hear about. But it's not unusual."
