Jon Walters believes Stoke City's fringe players have handed manager Tony Pulis food for thought after their FA Cup win over Cardiff City.
The Republic of Ireland international made the most of his chance with the two goals that saw off Championship high-fliers Cardiff City on Tuesday evening.
"I think we have given the gaffer a few headaches for this weekend's game, which can't be a bad thing," Walters told Stoke's website.
"There is a lot of quality in the squad, so you have to accept that at times you will be on the sidelines. That is part and parcel of being a Premier League footballer.
"You just have to make sure you do everything in your power to take your chance when it comes along, and hopefully I have done that with my performance this time."
