Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters is ready to fight for a first team place.

Walters hopes to use their Germany tour to establish himself in manager Mark Hughes' plans.

"I am no different than any other player in the 25 or so here, we are all looking to get in that starting eleven come the first game of the season, so we will all be looking to impress over the next few weeks," he told The Sentinel.
