Stoke City striker Jonathan Walters is backing Peter Odemwingie to make Nigeria's World Cup squad.
The Nigeria international has impressed since his January arrival from Cardiff City.
Walters told The Sentinel: "Pete's a really good player, and he's got aspirations of playing in the World Cup this summer. Hopefully he can get there.
"We've got a few others going out to Brazil; Asmir Begovic, Geoff Cameron and Wilson Palacios. It's the biggest stage you can play on and it will be great for them."
