Walsall could extend the loan of Manchester City defender Clayton McDonald.

McDonald will extend his stay with his Saddlers if he impresses during his initial month-long agreement.

The youngster said: "I am really buzzing and want to show people what I can do.

"I jumped at the chance of coming here, it is an opportunity for me to gain valuable experience and really push on."
