American midfielder Anton Peterlin has signed a one-year contract with League OneWalsall. The 24 year-old impressed boss Dean Smith during a three-week trial and becomes club's eighth summer signing.
"I'm pleased to have Anton on board. He's done well during his time with us and I'm looking forward to working with him more closely in the coming weeks and months," Smith told the club's official website.
"He has a decent pedigree and played at this level last season. He's got fitter and sharper during his time with us and I think he will prove to be a very useful acquisition."
Former Everton player Peterlin, who made 12 appearances for Plymouth last season, added: "I'm really excited by this move. I've settled in well with the lads already and going on tour to Scotland recently has really helped me.
"They're a good bunch and I'm just happy to sign for the club. I'm hoping we do well and get off to a good start to the season."
