Walsall have extended the loan of Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain.

The 20-year-old has been a big hit at the Banks's Stadium, scoring three times in 18 appearances for Dean Smith's side, including two in the last two games.

Cain is the second young City player to extend his loan spell in the last 24 hours after it was confirmed Jacob Blyth would remain at Burton Albion until the end of the current campaign.

The 22-year-old has scored five times in 22 appearances for the Brewers.
