Rangers stand-in captain Lee Wallace has urged the defence to pick up their game in the season run-in.
The Ibrox outfit have made a habit of conceding from set pieces this season and although manager Ally McCoist is likely to bring in new defenders in the summer transfer window, Wallace wants the current crop to show their all in the final ten matches of the Third Division campaign.
"We all need to take more responsibility in defence. We need to look at the problem and try and rectify it as soon as possible," he said after the 1-1 draw with Stirling Albion on Tuesday night.
"The message is getting across from the gaffer, but when we step on to the park we all have to pull together and do a lot better than we have been. We'll look at it, have a chat among ourselves and try to put it right.
"It's up to the manager what type of player he wants to bring in. Apart from the Stirling game we have been on a good run, particularly playing away from home.
"We do a lot of work on defending set-pieces, the gaffer spends a lot of time on the training ground doing that and in particular from wide areas.
"The message he gave us before the Stirling game was not to give away cheap free-kicks but we did that on more than one occasion and that led to their goal."
