Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose has revealed that his teammate Kyle Walker was one of the skinniest kids he played against back in their his school days.

Both full-backs were born in Yorkshire and often came up against each other while playing at school level.

Rose progressed through the Leeds United academy while Walker was a part of the setup at Sheffield United.

"Honestly, as a kid, Kyle was one of the smallest, skinniest players I've ever played against," Rose told Sky Sports of his fellow England international.

“I can't believe how big, physical and quick he's become. It's been mad to see the transformation over the years."
