Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker says the good times are ahead - thanks to no more cold showers!

Walker is taking comfort in the fact he does not have to worry about cold showers any more thanks to a new state-of-the-art training base.

Walker said: "When I first came to Tottenham, sometimes you would push the button to the shower but it would come straight back out and switch off. So you had to stand there holding the button down.

"Some of the lads complained and they changed it to a pull-down handle. But some days you would come in from training and the shower would be freezing cold. So then if the coaches weren't there, you'd sneak into their shower because theirs always seemed to be hot!

"The facilities we have now at the new place are just unbelievable - and it is the little things that really make a difference.

"It makes us want to give a bit extra rather than waking up in the morning thinking: 'Oh, the shower might be cold today.'"
