Kyle Walker is confident he will continue to gain fitness in his comeback from a lengthy injury absence.
The full-back made his first appearance in nine months for Spurs in Thursday night's 1-0 Europa League loss at Besiktas, playing 76 minutes before he was replaced by Etienne Capoue.
Walker had been sidelined with a pelvic problem but is now closing on full fitness and suggests he will be back to his best fairly soon.
"It was good to get back into the swing of things but the result was disappointing," he said after the match.
"I still feel a little rusty but that will come with time. By the next game hopefully I'll be sharp and fully fit."
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino was happy to see the England international back in action as he feels he is a key member of his squad.
"It was good for him to come back. He's important for us and the squad," said the Argentine.
