Kyle Walker admits he's pinching himself over his Tottenham debut.
The England Under-21 international finds himself thrust to the forefront of a squad challenging for a top four Premier League place - a scenario Walker can hardly believe.
He told the Spurs website: "I would never have thought a year ago that I would be stood here challenging for a Champions League place within a squad like this.
"The closest I got to playing with the likes of Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe was when I signed them on Football Manager [the computer game]! It's mad but let's hope it continues.
"I'm thankful the gaffer put his trust in me to play and now he's seen what I can do. I've just got to keep working hard in training and in the gym."
