Tottenham full-back Kyle Walker is determined to win a spot in the England squad this summer.
The Spurs defender has had a brilliant season individually, winning the PFA Young Player of the Year, and is now looking to be picked by new Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson for the upcoming Euro2012 Championships.
Walker is aware there is plenty of other good right-backs in England, including Glen Johnson, Micah Richards, Chris Smalling and even Phil Jones, but he is still desperate to put his best foot forward for a look-in.
"But I am still learning and still want to learn. I am trying to be the best I can be.
"Everyone has a fair run-in," added Walker.
"Obviously, Roy Hodgson watches the Premier League and will be aware of what is going on. Everyone has a chance to be on that plane. We all need to prove to him that we can do the business at the Euros.""There is massive competition for the right-back slot," he said.
