Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has declared midfield duo Andros Townsend and Moussa Dembele fit for this weekend's clash with Stoke City.

However, defenders Ben Davies and Kyle Walker remain long-term absentees, with the latter hoping to return to action before the end of the season.

Pochettino said: "Ben Davies and Kyle Walker are still out. Andros Townsend and Moussa Dembele are back. They had small injuries but they are now fit.

"Kyle is ok, he's having a slow recovery, we need to assess and analyse him every day. We're not sure if he's out of the rest of the season, but he's not sure if he'll be back."

Spurs sit sixth on the Premier League table ahead of the trip to the Britannia Stadium to take on the 10th-placed Potters on Saturday.
