Wales are expected to field a strong starting eleven for tonight’s friendly with Australia in Cardiff.

Wales are expected to field a strong starting eleven for tonight’s friendly with Australia in Cardiff.

Manager Gary Speed will go with Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey in goal with a back four of Chris Gunter (Nottingham Forest), Danny Gabbidon (QPR), Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor (both Swansea City) whilst Tottenham star Gareth Bale will start in a three-man midfield.

He will be joined by Blackpool’s reigning Player of the Year David Vaughan, now with Sunderland, and Celtic’s Joe Ledley whilst Arsenal young gun Aaron Ramsey is likely to be deployed in a three-prong attack with Manchester City striker, and Cardiff favourite Craig Bellamy, and Cardiff City’s Robert Earnshaw.
