Wigan Athletic attacker David Cotterill is back to his best, insists Wales U21 boss Brian Flynn.

The impressed on his international return on Tuesday, scoring in the U21's 4-3 win in Sweden.

"David was excellent. From the minute he came into the squad on Sunday he has been a guiding light," said Flynn.

"At 19 he's one of the experienced Under-21 players and he proved why he's been in the senior squad with his attitude and commitment."
