Wales coach Chris Coleman is upset Liverpool attacker Craig Bellamy will play for Great Britain in the London Olympics.
Bellamy has confirmed his selection for the summer Games.
Coleman told Absolute Radio: "There's not a lot I can do about that. Ideally our players wouldn't go and play because we want them to have a rest and we've got a friendly four days after the final and the Olympics, but I have to understand where the players are coming from.
"Chance to play in the Olympics and I have to understand it. Stuart Pearce has got to pick his best team, so; but it doesn't mean I have to like it but there's not a lot we can do about it."
