Chris Coleman can't see why there is so much fuss surrounding Ben Woodburn's Wales call-up.
The 17-year-old Liverpool winger was called into Coleman's Dragons squad for the first time ahead of Friday night's World Cup qualifier with the Republic of Ireland in Dublin.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp commented this week that he felt Coleman should have called him to speak about the call-up while there has plenty written and spoken about the decision to add such a young player ahead of an important qualifying tie.
But the Welsh boss is unsure why there is much ado about something he feels is quite normal.
"He's done well, he's coped well, I knew he'd be okay," said Coleman.
"He's training with Liverpool every day, I didn't really see all the fuss about calling him in.
"He's at Liverpool, a Champions League chasing team, why the fuss, we've called him in? We'll look after him just like we do all our players."
