Theo Walcott says he expects to sign a new contract with Arsenal this summer.

The 26-year old forward, who scored the opening goal in Saturday's 4-0 FA Cup romp over Aston Villa, has a year to run on his current deal with the Gunners but is confident he will come to an agreement with the club over an extension, even if it does take a little bit of time.

"I am sure things will get resolved. I just want to enjoy today," he told Sky Sports News HQ at Arsenal's cup celebrations.

"I have got England (fixtures) coming up and then we can think about that process, but it will take time, I am sure."
