Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has made clear his desire to remain at the Gunners, but insists he is no rush to finalise a new contract.
Walcott has been on Arsenal's books since joining the club as a 16-year-old in 2006 and has two years remaining on his current deal with the North London outfit.
Sky Sports is reporting the 26-year-old is no hurry to sign a new deal, with his primary focus being the upcoming Premier League season.
"My agent has talked to the club," Walcott said.
"I enjoy playing for this club, so I am just letting them crack on with things and I'll continue playing football.
"We'll just play the waiting game and see what happens but I'm sure it won't be long.
"This squad, for me, is one of the best I've been involved in. I want to be part of that."
