Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott admits they need to find a winning consistency.
Arsenal dispatched Swansea by two goals to nil at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Nacho Monreal and Gervinho.
It was a game which was viewed as a potential banana skin for Arsenal, as they have come a cropper against teams they are expected to beat before, and Walcott is well aware of this.
He said: "I haven't properly got my head around how we can beat a team like Bayern, but get beaten by some funny teams.
"We need to learn very quickly. We need to be more consistent and not make mistakes.
"We've made a lot of costly mistakes in games and only woken up once we've gone two goals behind."
