Wagner confirms Huddersfield injuries for Burnley clash

David Wagner has confirmed Huddersfield Town are without several key players for Sunday's trip to Burnley.

The Terriers have begun to season well, winning their first three matches before losing to West Ham and being held by Leicester at home last week.

Laurent Depoitre, the scorer from the Leicester game, is in doubt for the clash, while fellow striker Steve Mounie and USA international Danny Williams will also not travel to Turf Moor.

"Both will not be in contention this weekend. Steve will probably be ready for the next home game against Tottenham.

"Danny Williams has a small fracture on the bone in his foot. We have a specialist appointment tomorrow where we will get some information about how long he's out.

"At the moment, this is very open as it is a very small fracture. He is definitely out for tomorrow and anything else we will know after the weekend.

"Lolo (Depoitre) and Rajiv (Van La Parra) are stiff.

"Lolo Depoitre is further along than Rajiv with whom there is some doubt at the moment. So we have some injury concerns at the moment but we will find some solutions for it," he added.

"Colin Quaner is out too. He will be ready during the next international break."
