Wagner admits Huddersfield players 'below par' for West Ham thrashing

Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner was left disappointed with his players after their 4-1 thrashing by West Ham.

Wagner admitted that too many of his players were below par, making costly errors that you cannot make if you want to collect points in the Premier League.

The manager said, “We were below, too many individuals were below par today. Nothing that we like but something that can always happen when you're human. We made so many big individual mistakes and if you do these mistakes you can't collect points in the Premier League.

“Before all the goals, especially the first, second and third one – when we played a player onside who has to be offside. At the end, as I said it's frustrating, but we have to go forward, and we know exactly what we have done wrong.

“This has happened a few times in the season before and we showed the right reaction and I'm pretty sure we'll do it again."
