Wages could be issue for Blackburn in Vucinic push

Wages could be the issue if Blackburn Rovers push to sign AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic.

The Daily Mail says Rovers are considering an audacious £16million move for Roma striker Vucinic as they look for a marquee signing in the summer.

Rovers' new Indian owners intend to splash their wealth in an attempt to raise the club's profile.

He has two years left on his contract but Blackburn will need to improve on his £70,000 a week wages to make the deal happen. He has also been watched by Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus in past months.
