Tottenham legend Chris Waddle says Sir Alex Ferguson has turned into Jose Mourinho to take Manchester United back to the top of the table.
In his column for the People, Waddle wrote: "I never thought I'd see the day when Sir Alex Ferguson turned into Jose Mourinho - but that's exactly what has happened this season.
"Manchester United have replaced flair with efficiency, swapped attacking adventure for organisation and exchanged the spectacular for the solid.
"Ferguson's stars could very well go to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday and give Chelsea a glimpse of how it used to be under Mourinho.
"For United this season have become the new Chelsea. They grind out results without ever catching fire and they are as hard to beat as any United side I can remember.
"Harsher critics, though, would say the class of 2010-11 is the least entertaining United team since they started winning titles under Ferguson nearly 20 years ago. Boring even, by comparison."
