VVV-Venlo midfielder Keisuke Honda has reportedly joined Russian outfit CSKA Moscow.

The 23-year old Japan international has accepted an offer from Moscow according to reports emanating from his homeland although neither club have officially announced the deal.

CSKA are believed to have offered the Dutch Eredivisie club around €9million which appears to have beaten English Premier League duo Liverpool and Everton to his signature.

"This is a big adventure for me and the benefits from this far outweigh the risks," he told Sankei Sports.

"I want to play for a club that will value my contributions. So far, I've been made to feel this way."
