Vucinic delighted with hat-trick in Roma victory
Mirko Vucinic struck a superb hat-trick in Roma's 4-2 victory over Udinese.
Roma’s 4-2 win over Udinese and the 1-1 draw between Inter and Palermo means the Giallorossi are just four points adrift of the Serie A leaders.
“Roma are above all to be enjoyed when they win,” Vucinic said following three consecutive stalemates.
“We all made sacrifices because we were missing so many important players tonight, but despite it all the lads knew what they had to do and brought home the result.
“The most important thing now is to go to Bologna on Wednesday and try to win.”
Vucinic had a rough start to the campaign, but this hat-trick takes his goal tally to nine.
“I dedicate the hat-trick to my girlfriend, who is expecting our baby. I am the happiest man in the world,” grinned the Montenegrin.
