Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm has revealed Tim Krul's influence in his decision to move to the Liberty stadium.

The Newcastle United No1 urged his fellow Dutchman to accept the Swans' summer offer.

"He told me, 'It's a beautiful competition, you have to come'," Vorm recalled to the Daily Mail. "I had loved the Premier League since I was a kid watching Overmars and Bergkamp at Arsenal. I wanted to come. Tim thought it was a good idea."
