Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm would like to see Garry Monk remain as manager.
Monk is expected to be replaced by a more experienced candidate in the summer.
Writing in the Daily Mail, the Dutchman declared: "I like Garry Monk and I would like it very much if he was still manager next season. We played together for more than two years so I know him as a person and as a player. We spent quite a lot of time in recovery together this year as well because we both had knee problems at the same time.
"He has always been a character around the place. He is the guy who makes a lot of jokes and has a big personality. But you could always tell he was the manager type.
"Even when he wasn't playing he would talk in detail about football, about tactics, about other players. He knows his stuff."
