Vorm convinced Swansea have the goods to stay up

Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm believes the team is good enough to remain in the top flight next season.

The Welsh outfit held Liverpool to a scoreless draw at Anfield on Saturday to stay 10th on the league table and the Dutch gloveman is convinced that they can avoid relegation if similar performances are produced.

"If we carry on playing like this I think we can win a lot of matches this season," he said in the South Wales Evening Post.

"Everybody loves to play at these grounds and we looked like we had fun.

"It was a good opportunity for us to let everyone know that Swansea City can play good football."

He added: "I thought we played very well and they had a hard time keeping up with us.

"People like Suarez and Andy Carroll are very clever players so we had to work really hard.

"As everyone knows, we've had some difficult games away from home and we've drawn at Anfield, so that's positive.

"As a team we're improving every week and we're not afraid of anyone."
