Aston Villa captain Ron Vlaar feels they're over the worst this season.
Paul Lambert's side produced a spirited second half showing and came close to nicking a point against Arsenal, before drawing 2-2 at Anfield against Liverpool.
Vlaar said: "You have to earn the momentum and work hard.
"December wasn't an easy one for us but in January we won at Sunderland, lost to Arsenal and now have got a point at Anfield. That's not bad.
"We have to go on and use it as a boost to move forward."
