French defender Aurelien Collin is being linked with a move to MLS club Sporting Kansas City.

The 24-year old, currently with Portuguese club Vitoria Setubal, has had his name associated with the newly-named American club but it is unsure whether or not a deal has been agreed upon.

SKC president Rob Heineman previously hinted to the Daily Wiz that a French defender was heading to KC Soccer Stadium and it has more recently been revealed that it is in fact Collin.

The central defender has been in Portugal for the past season-and-a-half after stints in the UK with Wrexham, in Greece with Panserraikos, in Scotland with Gretna, in Spain with Mallorca and in his homeland with Amiens, Sedan and Reims.
