Manchester United and Chelsea have been told they must wait for Vitesse Arnhem midfielder Marco van Ginkel.
The Telegraph says they could be forced to wait until next month to discover whether Vitesse will listen to offers for the £12m-rated Holland Under-21 midfielder.
Van Ginkel is understood to have been identified as a leading summer target by Chelsea, who have partnership agreements with Vitesse.
United have also expressed an interest in the player, however, with the club's chief scout, Jim Lawlor, watching the attacking midfielder during Holland's run to the semi-finals of the European Under-21 Championships in Israel this month.
