Vitesse Arnhem's board accept it was the right time to sell Wilfried Bony this summer.

Bony completed his move to Swansea City last week.

Vitesse director Joost de Wit said: "We would liked to have kept Wilfried a little longer in Arnhem, but he had outgrown Vitesse and the Eredivisie.

"I think we should be satisfied with the transfer to Swansea."
