Chelsea have been working closely with Vitesse Arnhem over their new training complex.

Vitesse chief Paul van der Kraan admits they studied Chelsea's training facilities when first deciding on building a new HQ for their youth teams.

"We looked at both Chelsea and PSV," he said, "and from those two clubs we took the best from each and brought them together for our needs."

Vitesse have an informal partnership with Chelsea, having taken several players on-loan from the Blues over the last two seasons.
