Vitesse Arnhem chief Ted van Leeuwen is delighted with their loan deal for Patrick van Aanholt.
The Chelsea left-back joined Vitesse yesterday.
Van Leeuwen revealed: "We've been trying to sign him for 18 months. But he really wanted to pursue his career in England.
"We're very happy to have him here. He's a natural successor for Ashley Cole (at Chelsea)."
