Mark Schwarzer was at his best for Fulham on Saturday as they defeated Stoke City 1-0 at Craven Cottage.
The Australian goalkeeper produced a penalty save from Jon Walters' 56th minute spot-kick before denying a great Peter Crouch chance a later in the contest to allow the Londoners to record a vital home victory.
Schwarzer said he had studied the penalties of Walters which assisted him in making the save and also touched on how important it was to keep things neat and tidy at the back.
"We looked at video footage before the game so I was confident I knew where he was going to go. I was lucky enough to get behind it," he told Sky Sports.
"Any time you don't concede a goal is important.
"We needed the points today. You know what you are going to get from Stoke and it is especially vital at home to pick up three points."
