Vine leaves QPR for Gillingham loan

League Two Gillingham have signed Queens Park Rangers striker Rowan Vine on loan until the end of the season. The 29 year old goes straight into Gillingham's squad for this Saturday's trip to Bradford.

Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent that it was unlikely any players would be departing Priestfield on deadline day.

"I've been public on the ones we can let go out on loan and some of the younger ones.

"(Striker) Dennis Oli was in that category but we've had to use him and he's in the squad at the moment.

"We've had no calls."
