Villa's Stieber happy with Yeovil move

Aston Villa midfielder Zoltan Stieber is confident his loan move to Yeovil Town will earn him a first team breakthrough at Villa Park.

He told Villa's website: "It will be good for me to get some experience playing in League One. I hope to get closer to my dream of playing for Aston Villa's first team.

"I'm really enjoying my football at Villa and I'm very happy here. Now I will do my best for Yeovil. Hopefully create some goals and score some goals.

"It is important for me to get some first team games and hopefully this move will help me improve as a player."

Born and brought up in Hungary, Stieber admits he did not know too much about Russell Slade's men when he first became aware of Yeovil's interest.

But, after a bit of digging, he was happy to make the move to Huish Park. He added: "My agent called on Wednesday night and I went onto the internet and checked about the team. I know they won last weekend.

"Other teams were interested in taking me on loan, but I spoke with my agent and also with Kevin MacDonald and they said Yeovil were the best team for me."
