Aston Villa defender Liam Ridgewell would consider a move to Wolves this summer.

Wolves have been alerted to the 23-year-old, possibly available for around £1.5million, a prospect which Ridgewell would be prepared to consider given the club's Premiership ambitions, says the Birmingham Mail.

However it is understood the player would prefer a Premiership move if it all possible, and would perhaps consider a loan stay at Molineux if nothing has materialised before the end of the summer.
