Aston Villa's players know they face a major test of their Premiership hopes this Sunday at Chelsea.
Curtis Davies said: "We took four points off them last season,' said Curtis Davies, 'but we were backs-to-the-wall at their place.
"Chelsea go out thinking they can win every game, especially at Stamford Bridge, they have a long record of unbeaten games. So we know what to expect. We have to be resilient and get a result.
"People said it would be a true test against Liverpool - it ended up a bore draw. We know Chelsea will keep going for 90 minutes. If we can go there and be resilient, we might be able to nick one."
Skipper Martin Laursen added: "We know they haven't lost a league match at Stamford Bridge in over four years and there's no arguing with the fact they are immense on home soil. But that record has to end sometime. And we are going there in positive mood."
