Aston Villa defender Olof Mellberg has denied reports he's agreed a move to Juventus at the end of the season.

Reports in Italy claim the 30-year-old is on the verge of joining Juve, now managed by former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri, but Mellberg was keen to play down the speculation.

He said: "I was linked with Juventus but I am focusing on doing well for Villa."
